Site security, surveillance and access control for the construction phase
Westmount Road, St Helier, Jersey

Design visualisation of the new acute hospital
The brief
Jersey's new acute hospital is being built at Overdale. Across the construction programme the site needs a secure perimeter, controlled contractor access and a clear record of everything that happens on it.
Site coverage
Camera positions are planned on the site layout so fields of view overlap, leaving no gaps along the perimeter or around plant and material storage.
How it connects
Panoramic surveillance
31 G6 180 cameras give a 180° view from each position, removing blind spots around scaffolding, material stores and heavy plant.
AI search and plate recognition
AI processing runs on site, so deliveries are logged automatically and hours of footage can be searched without scrubbing through video.
Perimeter access
Every entrance checks who is coming in and records it, while drivers and visitors can speak to the site team before entering.
Cloud management
Site managers control credentials in real time from a phone or browser, without visiting a gatehouse.
Recording and retention
An Enterprise NVR records every camera continuously, with protection against drive failure and spare bays to grow into.
Retention is estimated from each camera's resolution and frame rate at continuous recording. Protection capacity is reserved for redundancy and does not hold footage.
